Abstract

REYCARD CARLOS: The Correlation Between Employee Commitment With Working Period At Employees On PT. Hadinata & Brothers,CO, Jakarta. Studies Program Commerce Education, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, December 2011. The research was conducted at PT. Hadinata & Brothers,CO, for three months from April 2013 until June 2013. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling. The population in this study are employees of PT. Hadinata & Brothers,CO all employees. The possible populations are employees of PT. Hadinata & Brothers,CO which they employment over five years is 105 employees. Samples taken as many as 78 employees. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 78,39 + 1,356X. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcalculated <Ftable is 1,27 < 1,92, so it was concluded that the linear equation regreasi.Test requirements analysis of the normality test error of estimated regression of Y on X to produce Lcount liliefors test = 0,051, while the Ltable for n = 78 at 0.05 significant level is 0.100. Because the Lcount < Ltable then an error estimate of Y on X is normally distributed. From test significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable, which is 35,94 > 3,98, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,3221, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount = 6,00 and Ttable = 1,67. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,3221 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtained for 32,21% which shows that 32,21% of the variation of work Working Period is determined by the Employee commitment.
