Abstract

SEKAR AYU FRACASIWI. THE CORRELATION BETWEEN JOB STRESS WITH JOB SATISFACTION TO EMPLOYEES AT DUTA SARANA PERKASA PLAN II, Co, Ltd. Skripsi, Jakarta: Study Program Of Commerce Education, Department Of Economic and Administration, Faculty Of Economic, State University Of Jakarta, Juli 2013. The study is aimed atobtaining valid and factual information and knowledge about correlation between job stress with job satisfaction to employee at Duta Sarana Perkasa Plan II, Co, Ltd. The research used survey methods by correlation approach. The population of this research were all employees Duta Sarana Perkasa, Co, Ltd., while the sampling were 32 employees. The sampling technique was the simple random sampling technique. According to statistical computation the study reveals the regression Ŷ = 88,85 – 0,372X. Result of normality test of error estemimation Y on X shows that the data are normality distributed with Lcount (Lo) 0,132 < Ltable (Lt) 0,157 which further means that Lo < Lt (Ho is accepted). Moreover, based on result of hypothesis test it’s known that value for Fcount (1,01) > Ftable (2,43), for Fcount (4,77) < F table (4,17) and therefore, Ho is accepted. Conclusion from the statistical computation is that the regression model of Ŷ = 88,85 - 0,372X is significant. tcount = (2,18) > ttable = (1,70) means that Ho is accepteh and the model is linier. Based on calculation the study result in determination coefficient as of 13,76% which means that job stress is affected significantly by job satisfaction. Job satisfaction is affected by job stress of13,76%. The result of this study has proved the existence of a negative and sisignificant correlation between job stress with job satisfaction to employee Duta Sarana Perkasa Plan II, Co, Ltd. This means that if the higher job stress will make the job satisfation more less.
