Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of Dividend Policy on Company Value (Empirical Study on Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the Period of 2010 - 2017). This study uses 4 (four) control variables, namely profitability, investment decisions, firm size and free cash flow. Dividend policy is measured by 2 (two) proxies, namely Dividend Payout Ratio and Dividend Yield. While the value of the company is measured by Tobin’s Q. The sample used in this study was 51 (289 Observations) of Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the Period of 2010 - 2017). The results showed that the Dividend Policy with 2 (two) proxies, namely Dividend Payout Ratio has a significant positive effect and Yield Dividend has a significant negative on the value of the company. The control variables used in this study are profitability and firm size have a significant positive effect on company value, investment decisions have a significant negative effect on company value, and free cash flow have a negative not significant influence on company value.
