Abstract

ANDRIS SUSILO PRASETYO, The Correlation Between job satisfaction with job discipline of employees at PT. POS INDONESIA (PERSERO) in east Jakarta. Commerce Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The research was conducted at PT. POS INDONESIA (PERSERO) in east Jakarta, for five months from February 2015 until June 2015. The purpose of this study is to determine correlation between job satisfaction and job discipline at order departement of PT. POS INDONESIA (PERSERO) in east Jakarta. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach, population in this study were all employees PT. POS INDONESIA (PERSERO) in east Jakarta, while the population of Inaccessibility is employees order departement of PT. POS INDONESIA (PERSERO) in east Jakarta as many as 46 people. The sampling technique used simple random sampling as many as 40 people. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 67,80 + 0,39X. Test requirements analysis that estimates the error normality test regression of Y on X with Test Liliefors produce Lcount = 0,0865, while Ltable for n = 40 at 0.05 significance level is 0,14009. Because Lcount<Ltable the estimated error of Y on X is normally distributed.Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount< Ftable is 2,12 < 2,16, so it is concluded that the linear equation regression. Hypothesis testing form test significance regression produces Fcount> Ftable which 46,31 > 4,10, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0,724, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using the t test and the resulting tcount> ttable, tcount= 6,468 and ttable = 1,68. It can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0,724 is significant. The coefficient of determination obtain for is 52,40%, which shows that 52,40% of the variation of job discipline is determined by job satisfaction.
