Abstract

MIFTAHUL JANNAH. 8105150465. The Relationship Between Assertiveness and Self-esteem of Office Administration Department Students in 50 Vocational High School Jakarta. Skripsi. Jakarta: Study Program of Economic Education, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, June 2019. This study aims to determine whether there is relationship between assertiveness and self-esteem of Office Administration Department students in 50 Vocational High School Jakarta. This research was conducted for 6 months during middle of October 2018 until middle April 2019. The method used is survey method with correlation approach. The population of the inaccessible population is the students of office administration department of 216 students. The sample used in this research is 135 students by using Proportional Random Sampling technique. Y variable data (self-esteem) is the primary data, the instrument used is a questionnaire by using the Guttman scale model and X variable (assertiveness) instrument used is a questionnaire using the Semantic Differential scale model. Data analysis technique using Microsoft Excell program version 2010 started by looking for the regression equation obtained is Ŷ = 18.074 + 0.551
