Abstract

VIVI JULIANY. The Influence of Entrepreneurship Education and Personality on Entrepreneurial Interest in Faculty of Economics Student, State University of Jakarta, 2019. Jakarta: Study Program of Business Education, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2019. This research aims to obtain the empirical data and right facts (authentic, true, and valid), it is also can be trusted (reliable) about the influence of entrepreneurship education and personality on entrepreneurial interest in faculty of Economics Student, State University of Jakarta. Lasted for 6 months, this research was carried out since February until July, 2019. This research is using survey method with correlational approaches, using student of the 2017 academic year at Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. Technique of sampling using target sample to 122 students. Meanwhile the technique of research analysis using simple linear regression approaches. This research hypothesis showing that : (1) There’s a positive and significant influenced between entrepreneurship education with interest of entrepreneur, this hypothesis has been proved by the value of tcalculated (5,413) >ttable (1,65775). (2) There’s a positive and significant influenced between personality to interest of entrepreneur, has been proved by the value tcalculated (6,657) >ttable (1,6775). The result of simple regression equation is Ŷ = 13,396 + 0,389 X₁ and Ŷ = 12,365 + 0,311 X₂. The influenced of Entrepreneurship Education and Personality toward student’s interest of entrepreneur obtained by the result of X₁ coefficient determination in the amount of 19,6% and X₂ in the amount of 27,0%. The capability of entrepreneurship education variable to explain the student’s interest of entrepreneur obtained the result of coefficient determination in the amount of 19,6%, meanwhile 80,4% of the remaining was influenced by other factors outside of the research. At the same time, the capability of personality variable to explain the student’s interest of entrepreneur obtained the result of coefficient determination in the amount of 27,0%, meanwhile 73% of the remaining was influenced by other factors outside of the research.
