Abstract
DELVIN DANA DAMRI, Effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on the performance of high school teachers in South Jakarta. The research was conducted in South Jakarta High School, for six months from January 2019 until July 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of job satisfaction and work motivation on the performance of high school teachers in South Jakarta. The research method used was a survey method with a correlational approach. The population was taken from all high school teachers in the South Jakarta area. The number of samples is 120 respondents taken by using purposive sampling technique. The resulting regression equation is Y = 34.586 + 0.412 X1 + 0.352 X2. Analysis requirements test is to use the normality test with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test with a significance level of α) = 5% or 0.05, for a sample of 120 people, if the significance is> 0.05 then the data is normally distributed, and if the significance is <0.05 then data is not normally distributed. Regression linearity test Y on X1 produces Fcount <Ftable which is 1,545 <3,072 and regression linearity test Y on X2 produces Fcount <Ftable which is 1,359 <3,072, so it is concluded that the regression equation is linear. From the Y regression test for X1 and X2 it produces Fcount <Ftable which is 48,810> 3,072, so it can be concluded that the regression equation is significant. Then do the t test and produce Y above X1 thitung = 4.986> t table = 1.65798. Y on X2 thitung = 4,535> t table = 1,65798. It can be concluded that the determination coefficient Y for X1 and X2 obtained is 0.455 which indicates that 45.5% Variables Teacher performance is determined by job satisfaction and work motivation
