Abstract

MUHAMMAD AKBAR HALIM BAGASKORO, Effect of Study Habits and Creativity on Academic Achievement in Students of Vocational High School 51 in Jakarta. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta for five months starting from February to June 2019. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of study habits and creativity on students of SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. The research method used was a survey method with a quantitative approach, the population was taken from students of SMK Negeri 51 Jakarta. The total sample of 131 respondents was taken using a simple random technique. Analysis requirements test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test with the test results of 0.200 with significance> 0.05, the data are concluded to be normally distributed and can be used in subsequent analyzes. The resulting regression equation is and. After that, the t test is done and the result is tcount 4.491> ttable 1.656 (X1) and tcount 5.430> ttable 1.656 (X2). Based on the results of the t test, the data is positive and significant. The coefficient Product Moment of Pearson produces rxy = 0.368 and a significance value of 0,000 for X1, because the significance is <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship. For X2 it produces rxy = 0.425 and a significance value of 0.000, because the significance is <0.05, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship. The R2 value of the coefficient of determination Y on X1 is 0.135 which indicates that 13.5% of learning achievement is influenced by study habits and the coefficient of determination Y on X2 is 0.181 which indicates that 18.1% of learning achievement is influenced by creativity.
