Abstract

IMA SITI FATIMAH. 8105150305. The Effect of Study Habits and Parents Attention to Learning Outcomes Students in Accounting Departement. Thesis, Jakarta: Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. 2019. This study aimed to determine the effect of study habits and parents attention to learning outcomes students in accounting departement. The research method used was a survey method with a correlational approach. This study was conduct at 8 Vocation High School Jakarta. The population in this research were students of class X Accounting 1, X Accounting 2, and X Accounting 3, totaling 108 students. The sample used in this study was 84 students based on proportional random sampling technique. Data variable Y (Learning Outcomes) is secondary data, while data variables X1 (Study Habits) and X2 (Attention of Parents) are primary data using the International Standardized Scale Likert scale model. The data analysis technique uses the SPSS version 22.0 program. The technique used is normality test for this study is Kolgomorov Smirmov, homogenity test is F test, and hypothesis analysis test is t-test. Based on the results of data analysis it is known that there is a partial relationship between study habits towards learning outcomes. It can be seen from the results of data analysis that shows the value of tcount > ttable (2,058 > 1,989). Parents attention also has an influence on learning outcomes, this is seen from the results of data analysis that shows the values of tcount > ttable (2,293 > 1,989). Simultaneously there is an influence between study habits and parents attention on learning outcomes. Can be seen from the results of data analysis that shows the value of Fcount > Ftable (5,506 > 3,11). There is a positive and significant influence between study habits and parents attention on learning outcomes with multiple correlations 0,601. Thus, the research hypothesis is accepted, then it is known that determination coefficient is 31,2% of the results of the above research, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between study habits and parents attention on learning outcomes.
