Abstract

ANINDYA SETYORINI. 2019. 8323163687. Analysis of Profitability Ratios in Indonesian National Shipping Company (Persero) Period 2013-2017. Program Studi D3 Akuntansi. Fakultas Ekonomi. Univesitas Negeri Jakarta. This scientific work was motivated by PT PELNI (Persero) 's employees on strike so they demanded to raise their basic salary, besides production equipment used by all employees who are often old, and the decline of PELNI customers prompted the company to try to maximize PELNI' s competency to look for new customer. This causes problems in income that can have an impact on company profits. This scientific work was written based on financial report data obtained from PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (Persero) for the period 2013-2017. The method used is descriptive quantitative method. From the results of writing, it can be seen that based on the results of calculations using the profitability ratio at PT PELNI for the period 2013-2017 yields an average operating profit margin of -1.27%; the average gross profit margin is 11.32%; the average net profit margin is -2.11%; the average return on assets is -1.76% and the average return on equity is -0.844%.
