Abstract

RATIH CHOIRUNNISA. Evaluation of Implementation Strengthening Character Education in Economics Learning at 98 Senior High School East Jakarta. Economic Education, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of Character Education Strengthening Implementation in Economic Learning in Jakarta Public High School 98. This study is classified as evaluative research using the CIPP model which consists of four evaluation objectives, namely: Context Evaluation (Context), Input Evaluation (Input), Process Evaluation (Process), and Product Evaluation (Product). The subjects of this study consisted of : deputy headmaster of the curriculum, economic subject teachers and students of 98 Senior High School Jakarta. The method of data collection is done by questionnaires, interviews, observation and study documents. The data analysis technique in this study is quantitative descriptive to analyze the percentage level of effectiveness of each component in the CIPP model and descriptive qualitative to analyze the constraints that cause the evaluation results not in accordance with the standards of success. Evaluation results of Character Education Strengthening Implementation in Economic Learning in Jakarta Public High School 98 indicate that the average level of effectiveness of program implementation in the Context (Context) Component is 98,93%, Input Component (Input) is 80,25%, Process Component is equal to 83,7%, and the Product Component (Product) is 80,9%. Almost all of the aspects contained in the evaluation component in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of Republic of Indonesia Number 69 of 2013 concerning Permendikbud No. 69 of 2013 about the Basic Framework and Curriculum Structure of High School / Madrasah Aliyah and Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2018 concerning Strengthening Character Education in the Formal Education.
