Abstract

ANISA RATNA PRATIWI. 8105153344. The Relationship Between Self Efficacy, Emotional Intelligence Against Procrastination. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy, emotional intelligence on procrastination in accounting education students for the 2016-2018 faculty of economics, Jakarta State University. This research was carried out for six months, the month of February-August 2019. This study uses primary data, using a questionnaire. The method used in this study is a survey method. The population in this study were all accounting education students from 2016-2018, totaling 219 students. With a sample size of 132 students, based on Isaac and Michael table calculations. The technique of selecting respondents using proportional random sampling, namely the proportional random method. The assessment of questionnaire data used a Likert scale. The data analysis technique used is the first prerequisite test analysis consisting of normality test and linearity test. Second, multiple linear regression test. Third, test the hypothesis that contains the t test and f test. Next, the calculation of the coefficient of determination analysis. The calculation that has been done is obtained from the normality calculation of 0.200> 0.05. Obtained from the calculation of the t test the self-efficacy variable is -5.315> -1.978 or t arithmetic greater than t table. In the emotional intelligence variable -2,924> -1,978 or t arithmetic> T table, i.e. each variable there is a partial influence on the procrastination variable. For the F test, obtained a test of f arithmetic 20,671> 3.07. The multiple regression equation obtained Y = 23,418-0,251X1-0,290X2. The coefficient of determination R2 is 24.3%.
