Abstract

NUR RAHMA DRAJATIN. 8105151360. THE INFLUENCE OF SELF CONCEPT AND LEARNING MOTIVATION ON LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT IN PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS 46 IN JAKARTA. Script, Jakarta: Faculty of economics, State University of Jakarta. 2019. This study aims to determine the Effect of Self Concept and Learning Motivation on Learning Achievement in Students of State Vocational High School 46 in Jakarta. This research was conducted for six months from January 2019 to June 2019. The research method used was the survey method. The study population was grade X students of SMK Negeri 46 Jakarta. Affordable population in this study amounted to 214 students. Based on the tables of Isaac and Michael, the number of samples in this study were 131 respondents. The technique of selecting respondents uses proportional random sampling, which uses the proportional random sampling method. Data on Learning Achievement variables (Y), Self Concept Variables (X1), Learning Motivation Variables (X2) are primary data using a Likert scale model. The data analysis technique in this study used SPSS 24.0. The F test results in the ANOVA table produce Fcount 28.825> Ftable 3.07 which means that simultaneously X1 and X2 are related to Y. The t test produces tcount 3.895> ttable 1.978 It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between self-concept (X1) and achievement learning (Y). Then, t count 4,073> t table 1,978, it can be concluded that there is a positive and significant influence between learning motivation (X2) and learning achievement (Y). Based on the results of data analysis, it was found to have a multiple regression equation Y = 28.546 + 0.271 X1 + 0.283 X2. Test coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.311, namely each variable X1 and X2 accounted for an influence of 31.1% to Y and the remaining 68.9% was influenced by other factors not examined.
