Abstract
VIA HALIDA ADZANI 8105150227. The Effect of Motivation Learning and Peer Environment To Interest In Continuing Education To College On XII Grade SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta. Program Administration Office, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2019. The aim of this research is to find out is there any influence learning motivation and peer environment to interest in continuing to college on XII grade SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta Students. This research is start since February until May 2019. This research uses survey method and quantitative approach. Population in this research is all students of SMK Negeri 2 Jakarta with 671 students. As for affordable population is XII grades students with 205 students. Which consist from major (Office Administration, Marketing, Accounting, Software Engineering and Multimedia). Specimen taking technique use proportional random sampling technique, so that the total number of research specimen obtained is 127 respondent. Variable data Y (Interest Continuing Education), X1 (Motivation Learning), X2 (Peer Environment) is primary data. Primary data collection technique uses questionnaire. Data analysis performed uses analysis requirements technique which consists of normality test and linearity test, classical assumptions test which consist of multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test, multiple regression equation test, hypothesis test which consist of test f and test t and coefficient of determination. Base on obtained analysis result known there is any partial influence between motivation learning and interest to continuing to college. As can be seen from the result of data analysis known that value t motivation learning big as 3,685> t 1979. Then as can be seen from analysis data t peer environment as big as 6,279 > t 1.979. Motivation Learning and Peer Environment simultaneously take effect on interest to continuing education, this is proven with F as big as 47,204 > F 3,07. With multiple regression equation obtained is Y = 6,631 + 0,281X1 + 0,566X2.. Base on coefficient of determination test earned value R2 as big as 0,432 which means motivation learning (X1) take effect to the interest to continuing education (Y) as big as 43, 2%.
