Abstract

ABSTRACT AGENG AYU M. CORRELATION BETWEEN SELF CONTROL WITH ACADEMIC PROCRASTINATION OF STUDENTS SMK YADIKA 13 TAMBUN. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2012. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the Correlation Between Self Control With Academic Procrastination Of Students SMK YADIKA 13 Tambun. The research healed at SMK YADIKA 13 Tambun for three months since April until June 2012. The method of this research is survey method with correlation approach. The population research was all of students in second grade with total 225 students, with 135 students for sampling. Collecting X variable data (Self Control) and Y variable data (Academic Procrastination), using questioner liker scale model, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y= 93.39-0.431X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L = 0,044 in significant level 0,05 and L table = 0,076, so L count < L . It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count table (56.81) > F (3,92). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F table (1,60), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is r xy count count = -0,547 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t count = (-7.54) while t table (0,50) < F = (-1,66) and so, - t < - t . It means that there are significance correlations between self control with academic procrastination. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 29,93%, it means that academic procrastination variable determined by 29,93% self control variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a correlation between Self Control With Academic rocrastination Of Students SMK YADIKA 13 Tambun.
