Abstract

Fatih Mardan, 2019: The Effect of Trading Volume, Return, and Variance Return to Bid-ask Spread on Company that Listed in LQ45 INDEX in 2017. Thesis, Jakarta: Financial Concentration, Study Program of Management, Faculty of Economic, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This study aims to determine the effect of trading volume, return, and variance return to bid-ask spread on company that listed in LQ-45 index in 2017. The dependent variable in this study are trading volume, return, and variance return. The independent variable is bid-ask spread. The data used in this study is daily transaction history company in LQ-45 index. The sampling method in this study is purposive sampling technique, and selected 29 companies as a samples. The research model in this study using panel data regression with fixed effect model approach. The empirical result show that trading volume have a negative and significant influences to bid-ask spread, variance return have a positive and significant influences to bidask spread. In the other hands, return have a negative but insignificant influences to bid-ask spread. Keyword: Bid-Ask Spread, Trading Volume, Return, Variance Return.
