Abstract

Renhard Vesta, 2019: The Effect of Board Directors Gender and CEO Tenure to Cash Holding on Non Financial Firm Listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) Period 2011-2017. Thesis, Jakarta: Finance Concentration, Study Program of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The aim of this study is to determine the effect of board directors gender and CEO tenure to cash holding on non financial firm listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2011-2017. Independent variable of these study are board directors gender and CEO tenure. Dependent variable is cash holding. Control variable are firm size, net working capital, dividend payment, growth opportunities, leverage and liquidity (current ratio). Data used in this study from annual report of non financial firm that published by IDX during 2011-2017 (1913 observation). The sampling method of this study is purposive sampling technique. The research model in this study used panel data analysis with fixed effect model approach. The empirical result shows that board directors gender not influence cash holding. CEO tenure have negative significant influence to cash holding. Firm size have negative significant influence to cash holding. Net working capital, dividend payment, growth opportunities, leverage and liquidity (current ratio) have positive significant influence to cash holding.
