Abstract

TEGAR GALA ARIMY. 2020. 8323164993. Analisis Pendapatan Premi dan Beban Klaim Dalam Menentukan Laba Perusahaan Asuransi Pada PT Asuransi BRI Life. Program Studi DIII Akuntansi. Jurusan Akuntansi. Fakultas Ekonomi. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This Scientific Work aims to find out how the contribution of premium income and claim burden in determining the amount of net income of insurance companies at PT BRI Life Insurance. This scientific work was written based on the results of interviews with companies and customers, library research, and observations in the form of data collection conducted at PT BRI Life Insurance. The method used is descriptive and verification analysis methods. From the results of this study it can be concluded that, the premium income at PT BRI Life Insurance is still higher than the claim expense each year, the amount of premium income can still cover the value of the claim burden. So that the premium income of PT BRI Life Insurance has a greater contribution to the company's profit compared to the burden of claims. Keywords: Premium Income, Claim Expenses, and Net Profit
