Abstract

ASRI APRILIA, The Correlation Between Lifestyle With Impulse Buying At Matahari Department Store Kalibata Mall On Citizen District 004 Kelurahan Mampang Prapatan, Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan, In Jakarta. Commerce Education Studies Program, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. This research was conducted in RW.004, Kelurahan Mampang Prapatan, Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan, In Jakarta, for seven months, starting from October 2015 to May 2016. The purpose of this study is to determine the correlation between Lifestyle with Impulse Buying at Matahari Department Store Kalibata Mall On Citizen District 004 Kelurahan Mampang Prapatan, Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan, In Jakarta. The research method used is survey method with the correlational approach, population used are all Citizen District 004, Kelurahan Mampang Prapatan, Kecamatan Mampang Prapatan, In Jakarta. The sampling technique used technique of purposive sampling as many as 58 people. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 47.75 + 0.48X. Test requirements analysis that estimates the error normality test regression of Y on X with test liliefors produce Lcount = 0.0914, while Ltable for n = 58 at 0.05 significant level is 0.1401. Because Lcount < Ltable the estimated error of Y over X normally distribution. Testing linearity of regression produces Fcount < Ftable is 1.02 < 1.91, so it is concluded that the linear equation regression. Hypothesis testing from the significance regression produces Fcount > Ftable which, 67.53 > 4.01, meaning that the regression equation is significant. Correlation coefficient of Pearson Product Moment generating rxy = 0.739, then performed the test significance correlation coefficient using t test and the resulting tcount > ttable, tcount = 8.218 and ttable = 1.67. It can conclude that the correlation coefficient (rxy) = 0.739 is positive and significant. The coefficient of determination obtain for is 54.67% which show that 54.67% of the variant of impulse buying is determined by lifestyle.
