Abstract
Indah Rahayu, 8105162367. The Relationship Between School Engagement, Academic Self-Efficacy, and Academic Burnout of Student at SMK PGRI Karisma Bangsa. Script, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, 2020. The study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between School Engagement, Academic Self-Efficacy, and Academic Burnout of Student at SMK PGRI Karisma Bangsa. This research took 6 months strat from March 2020 until July 2020. This research was conducted by using survey methode. The affordable population in this study amounted to 324 students with a sample of 167 students. The sample refers to the Isaac and Michael tables with respondent selection techniques using proportional stratified random sampling. Data is collected using a questionnaire method with a Likert scale. Variables Academic Burnout (Y), School Engagement (X1) and Academic Self-Efficacy (X2) are the primary data obtained from the result of the distribution of research questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is first, the analysis requirements test consisting of normality and linearity tests. Normality test result for School Engagement 0,200; Academic Self-Efficacy 0,200; and Academic Burnout 0,200. The result of linearity test Deviation of Linearity of School Engagement 0,462 and Academic Self-Efficacy 0,730. Second, Classic assumption tests consist of multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test. The result of multicollinearity test for Tolerance value of 0,859 > 0,1 and VIF value of 1,164 < 10. The Result of heteroscedasticity test for Scholl Engagement were 0,849 > 0,05 and Academic Self-Efficacy was 0,914 > 0,05. Third, multiple regression test with the results of equation Ŷ = 74, 901 – 0,383X1 – 0,390X2. Fourth hypothesis tests consisted of F test and t test. F test result in the ANOVA table are F-count 278,495 > F-table 3,05. This means that there is a simultaneous relationship between School Engagement, Academic Self Efficacy and Academic Burnout. t test result for School Engagement are -t count - 15,594 < -t table -1,97453 and for Academic Self-Efficacy -t count -10,577 < -t table -1,97453. This means that there is a negative relationship between School Engagement and Academic Burnout, and a negative relationship between Academic Self-Efficacy and Academic Burnout. Fifth, analysis of the coefficient determination (R2) with result 0,773 which means 77.3% variability of the Academic Burnout can be explained by School Engagement and Academic Self Efficacy while the remaining 22,7% is influenced by other variables not examined. Key Word: Academic Burnout, School Engagement, Academic Self-Efficacy
