Abstract
Vira Putri Chaer, 8105162761, The Effect of Motivation and Work Discipline on Employee Productivity at Merlynn Park Hotel, Thesis, Jakarta: Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of motivation and work discipline on employee work productivity at Hotel Merlynn Park. The research method used was a survey method with a descriptive approach. The population in this study were 105 employees of Hotel Merlynn Park. Based on the Slovin formula, the number of samples in this study were 83 respondents. For data processing, the researcher processed the questionnaire using a Likert scale. Variables of Work Productivity (Y), Motivation (X1), and Work Discipline (X2) are primary data in the form of a research questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the SPSS version 25.0 program starting by looking for the analysis requirements test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test with a significance result of Motivation of 0.200, Work Discipline of 0.200, and Work Productivity of 0.200, then using a linearity test with a significance value of Deviation From Linearity motivation of 0.142, the significance value of the Deviation From linearity of organizational culture of 0.799, the classic assumption test using the heteroscedaticity test in the Spearman 'rho test with a Sig. (2-tailed) the transformational leadership variable is 0.783 and the organizational culture variable is 0.756. Because the value is more than 0.05, heteroscedasticity does not occur, then using multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing using the F test and t test. The conclusion in this study is that motivation and work discipline have a positive and significant effect on work productivity. Keywords: motivation, work discipline, work productivity
