Abstract

NADIRA DWI PUSPITA, 8105160101, The Influence of Parenting and School Environment on Learning Motivation Accounting Students of SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang Selatan. Thesis. Jakarta. Faculty of Economics. State University of Jakarta. 2020. This study aims to determine the effect of the school environment on student motivation in accounting expertise at SMK Negeri 2 Tangerang Selatan. The method used in this study is a survey method with a quantitative approach. The affordable population in this study amounted to 126 students and the sample used was 96 students. In obtaining the data of this study using primary data using a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The testing technique used is multiple linear regression and uses the t test and F test in testing hypotheses. Based on the t test results obtained tcount of 4.497 which means that parenting parents have a significant effect on learning motivation and there is a significant influence between the school environment on learning motivation with tcount acquisition of 3,483. Whereas in the F test the Fcount results were obtained at 65.720. Then there is a significant influence between parenting parents and the school environment on learning motivation, correlation coefficient of 0.765 and a coefficient of determination of 0.586 which means that parenting patterns and the school environment have 58.6% influence on learning motivation. The conclusion that can be drawn in this study is that parenting and the school environment are factors in learning motivation. In terms of learning motivation it should be improved and maintained through the application of a comfortable atmosphere both at home by parents and at school by the school.
