Abstract

ARGO WIRANATA PRASETYA, the influence of trust and perceived risk on intentions to use mobile payment applications for millennials in DKI Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to obtain the available knowledge to obtain empirical data and facts that are correct, valid, reliable and reliable about the effect of trust and perceived risk on the intention to use mobile payment applications in the millennial generation in DKI Jakarta. This research was conducted for six months from August 2020 to January 2021. The research method that researchers used was the online survey method. The data used in this research is quantitative data with data analysis using multiple linear regression. The population used in this study is Gopay users who are the millennial generation in DKI Jakarta. For data processing, the researcher processed the questionnaire using a Likert scale. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling of 200 people. In the test for the coefficient of determination of the total variable, it can be seen that the Rsquare value is 0.429. This shows that 42.9% intention to use is influenced by trust and perceived risk, while the remaining 57.1% is influenced by the influence of other variables outside of this study. The results obtained from this study are: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between trust in intention to use, (2) There is a positive and significant influence between perceived risk on intention to use, (3) There is a positive and significant influence on trust and perceived risk confidence in intention to use.
