Abstract

ABSTRACT LENY DESMANITA. Correlation Between Job Involvement With Productivity of Employee at PT. Astra Honda Motor North Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Education, Study Program of Economic Education, Department Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economy, State University of Jakarta, 2013. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know Correlation Between Job Involvement With Productivity of Employee at PT. Astra Honda Motor North Jakarta. This research have been done for21 month since Desember 2012 until Januari 2013. Research Method using survey method with correlation aprroach, while the data is got from instrument to PT. Astra Honda Motor North Jakarta . The populations research was all of employee in PPC (Production Planning & Control) with 141 employee as research sample which use proportional random sampling technique. Collecting X variable data (Employee Involvement ) and Y variable data (Employee Productivity), using likert scale, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Employee Involvement) is 0,907 and Y Variable (Employee Productivity) is didn’t have to find because the data is got from the corporation. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 24,68+ 0,493X. After that data normality test by using lilliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,082 in significant level 0,05 and L table =0,089 , so L count < Ltable . Mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is, F count (33,16) > F table (3,96). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F count (0,86) < Ftable (1,63), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlations coefficient test, is r xy = 0,503 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result is, t count =5,76 while t table = 1,67 and so, tcount > t table. It means that there are significance and positive correlations between Employee Involvement And Employee Productivity. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 25,28%, it means that Employee Productivity variable determined by 25,28% Employees Involvements variable. The conclusion of the research have shown that there is a positive correlations between Between Job Involvement With Productivity of Employee at PT. Astra Honda Motor North Jakarta.
