Abstract
ABSTRACT CHAMERLIN MARGARETTA. The Effect of Export, Foreign Direct Investment and Gross Domestic Product on Employment Opportunities in Indonesia for the Period 2002-2016. Essay. Jakarta. Economic Education Studies Program, Economic Concentration Cooperative, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University, 2017. This study aims to obtain knowledge based on valid data and facts and can believed to determine the influence between the influence exports, foreign direct investment and gross domestic product on employment opportunities. Either partially or simultaneously. The data used in this study is time series data consisting of 30 samples which are calculated per semester. The data are processed by researchers obtained from the Central Board of Stattistika (BPS), the Foreign Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) and Bank Indonesia (BI). Where for hypothesis testing used path analysis in testing. In testing the normality of significance level of variable export of 0.352, FDI of 0,887,GDP of 0.901 and employment opportunities of 0.472. Level of significance > 0.05 then the data declared normal distribution. In testing the structure of the hypothesis, for the sub-structure of hypothesis 1 obtained equation Y = 0,73 X 1t-2 + 0,460 X2 + 0,868 X3 + ρye1 . Where the significant value of export on employment opportunities of 0,447, FDI on employment opportunities of 0.006 and GDP on employment opportunities of 0.000 then the sub-structure of the first hypothesis of FDI and GDP is positive and significant because more <0.05. Likewise for the sub-structure of the second hypothesis obtained equation X2 =0,749 X1 + ρye1 . Where the significant value of export on FDI equal to 0.006 then the sub-structure of the secont hypothesis is positive and significant because more <0.05. Sub structure of the third hypothesis obtained equation X3 = 0,727 X2 +ρye1 with significant value 0,000 then FDI positive and significant on GDP.
