Abstract
ANISAH NUR RAHMAN. The Influence of Profitability and Liquidity on Share Return Of Infrastructure, Utility and Transportation Companies Listed in IDX period 2016. Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2017. This research studies the impact of profitability and likuidity on share return of infrastructure, utility and transportation companies. Share return (dependent variable) is measured by total return. While the independent variable are profitability is measured by return on equity and liquidity is measured by current ratio. Period used is a year, 2016, using secondary data such as annual report published by Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The techniques used for sampling is simple random sampling, hence 40 infrastructure, utility and transportation companies with a total population of 45. The data analysis techniques used was multiple linear regression and the hypothesis test consist of t-test and f-test T-test results showed that the profitability has positive influence and no significant on the share return. Liquidity has positive influence and significant on the share return. While the F-results the profitability, liquidity, have no significant influence on the share return.
