Abstract
MARLIN OKTAVIANE. The Correlation Between Information Asymmetry with The Cost of Equity Capital In Manufacturing Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. 2013. This research conducted to look how strong the correlation between information asymmetry with the cost of equity capital in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.This research use expost facto method with the correlation approach. This research use purposive sampling as a technique of data collection. Data obtained from daily transactions data and Fact Book data obtained from research in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The result of descriptive analysis shows that: (a) according to the information asymmetry in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange included in low categories, (b) the cost of equity capital in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange included in low categories. And the result of Correlation analysis shows that the information asymmetry have positive and significant influence on the cost of equity capital in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange.
