Abstract

ABSTRACT Dony Fancius. Effects of Economic Growth And Population Growth On Unemployment Rate In DKI Jakarta 2003-2011. Faculty of Economy State University of Jakarta. 2013 The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of economic growth and population growth on unemployment rate in DKI Jakarta in 2003-2011. Research methods using method facto exposure. Data analysis techniques in this research used the analysis of panel data. Processing data using Eviews 6.0 program and Micosoft Excel 2010. Adjusted R2 value of 0.337224 indicates that 33,72% of Indonesia's unemployment rate can be explained by economic growth and population growth. The results of the research using a random effect model that showed economic growth and populaion growth are positive and significant impact on unemployment rate in DKI Jakarta.
