Abstract
ABSTRACT DESSY PUTRI ARDIAN. The Influence Of Agriculture Growth Sector And Transportation-Communication Sectors For The Absorption Of Indonesian Labor. Jakarta: Study Program Of Economic Education, Concentration In Economic Education Cooperative, Departement Of Economic And Administration, Faculty Of Economics, State University Of Jakarta, Januari 2013. This research aims to obtain whether there is a significant influence of agriculture growth sector to the absorption labor, influence of transportation and communication growth sectors to the absorption labor and influence of agriculture growth sector and transportation-communication sectors for the absorption of indonesian labor. This research is using ex post facto method with correlation approach and descriptive quantitative form. Types of data used in the writing are panel data that combines with the cross section and time series data and the the secondary data is GDP agriculture sector, transport and communications sector and the absorption labor as well as data published by the Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) during 2005 to 2011 in the 30 provinces in Indonesia. Processing data using Eviews program version 6.0. The results of multiple regression model estimation through hypothesis testing with the t test and F test at the 5 percent significance level. The results of the hypothesis test indicates that there is a positive and significant of agriculture growth sector and transportation-communication sectors for the absorption of indonesian labor either partially or simultaneously. Coefficient of determination of 0.78, which means 78 percent variable growth of agriculture and transport and communications sectors are able to explain the diversity of values to variables of employment. Key Word: Agriculture Growth Sector, Transportation And Communication Growth Sectors and The Absorption Labor.
