Abstract
ABSTRACT Suryani Nilawati, 2014; The Effect of Profitability, Liquidity, Assets Structure, and Firm Size on Capital Structure: Evidence from Mining Firm Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2012. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Financial Management, Study Program of Management, Department of Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to know the effect of profitability, liquidity, assets structure, and firm size on capital structure: evidence from mining firm listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2008-2012. The sample using in this study is 21 companies. The research model in this study employs panel data analysis with fixed effect approach. The results show that profitability has negative and significant effect on capital structure. Assets structure and firm size have positive and significant effect on capital structure. Liquidity has positive and not significant effect on capital structure. Simultaneous test shows that profitability, liquidity, assets structure, and firm size have effect on capital structure.
