Abstract

ABSTRACT Yoga Nur Hadinata. The Influence of Self-Efficacy, Need for Achievement and Instrumental Readiness of Entrepreneurial Intention: A Study on University Student of Economics Faculty State University of Jakarta . State University of Jakarta. 2013. The purpose of this study is: 1) describe the self-efficacy, need for achievement, instrumental readliness and entrepreneurial intention on FE UNJ students, 2) empirically test the influence of self-efficacy toward entrepreneurial intention on FE UNJ students, 3) empirically test the influence of need for achievement toward entrepreneurial intention on FE UNJ students, 4) empirically test the influence of instrumental readliness toward entrepreneurial intention on FE UNJ students, 5) empirically test the influence of self-efficacy, need for achievement and instrumental readliness toward entrepreneurial intention simultaneously on FE UNJ students. Analysis conducted in this research is a descriptive analysis and correlational. Research conducted on 148 students of FE UNJ class of 2010, using proportional stratified random sampling method. While the techniques of data collection is done by distributing questionnaires, then processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS. The results showed that: 1) Students of FE UNJ tend to have low self-efficacy and need for achievement, a quite enough instrumental readiness and very low entrepreneurial intention 2) Self-efficacy has a positive influence toward students entrepreneurial intention. 3) Need for achievement has a positive influence toward students entrepreneurial intention. 4) Instrumental readiness has a positive influence toward students entrepreneurial intention. 5) self-efficacy, need for achievement and instrumental readliness together positive and significant impact toward students entrepreneurial intention.
