Abstract

MUHAMMAD IDRIS, 2014: Influence of Loan to Deposit Ratio and Non Performing Loan toward Return On Equity. Thesis. Department of Accounting Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. Supervisor : (1) M. Yasser Arafat SE, MM (2) Unggul Purwohedi SE, M.Si, Ph.D. This study aims to prove the effect of Loan to Deposit Ratio and Non Performing Loans on Return On Equity. This study used two independent variables and the dependent variable, Loan to Deposit Ratio and Non Performing Loans as independent variables, and Rreturn On Equity as the dependent variable. Loan to Deposit Ratio is measured by dividing the total credit to fund a third party, Non Performing Loans is calculated by dividing estimate of Non Performing Loan to total loans, and Return On Equity is measured by dividing net income by the bank's Equity. This study took a sample of banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the years 2010-2012. The data obtained by purposive sampling technique and using regression analysis method. Simultaneous hypothesis testing results indicate that the Loan to Deposit Ratio of Non Performing Loans and simultaneous influence on Return On Equity. The test results show that the partial hypothesis Loan to Deposit Ratio effect on Return On Equity. While Non Performing loans have a significant effect on Return On Equity.
