Abstract

ABSTRACT HENDRIK TRI HARYANTO. 8105116576. Effects of Locus Of Control and Self Esteem on Job Satisfaction on Employee PT Fast Food Indonesia Tbk, Branch KFC Artha gading, North Jakarta: Study Program Office Administration, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, University of Jakarta. 2015. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between locus of control and self-esteem to job satisfaction of the employees of PT. Fast Food Indonesia Tbk, KFC branch Artha Gading, North Jakarta. The method used was survey method with approach of causality. The population in this study were all employees of KFC Artha Gading, North Jakarta totaling 40 people with samples used as many as 36 employees by using random techniques (simple random sampling). The instrument used to obtain data on the variables X (locus of control) using a questionnaire that measured using Guttman scale, X (self esteem), and Y (job satisfaction) were measured using a questionnaire with Likert scale. The data is then tested for validity and reliability. Techniques of data analysis using SPSS 19.0 starts with finding test requirements analysis is the test for normality using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov method and obtained values X, and Y is 0.200 of which were more than 0.05 then the normal distribution of data. Linearity test can be seen from the results of SPSS output with the look Deviation from Linearity at significance level of 0.05. Linearity test results X1 (locus of control) to Y (job satisfaction) has a value of 0.092 Linearity Deviation from greater equal to 0.05, it can be concluded the data X (locus of control) to Y (job satisfaction) has a relationship linear. Then the results of linearity test X1 (self esteem) to Y (job satisfaction) of 0.897 is more than equal to the 0.05 it can be concluded the data X (self esteem) to Y (job satisfaction) also has a linear relationship. Test multiple regression equation obtained = a+b 2 e which is obtained from the equation = 59.883-1.159 X 1 + 0.436 X +e. Test the hypothesis that the F test in the ANOVA table generating F count 2 11 X 122+b (25.736)> F (3.285), this means that the X1 (locus of control) and X (self esteem) simultaneously affect the Y (job satisfaction). T test produces thitung of X 2 (locus of control) of -4.734 and -1.692 t table and t count of X (self esteem) of 3.237 and 1.692 t table 2 . Because thitung to locus of control is smaller than t , it can be concluded that there is a negative effect between locus of control and job satisfaction and self esteem to t count of greater than t it can be concluded that there is a positive influence between self-esteem and job satisfaction. Results of these studies concluded that the locus of control and self esteem have influence on job satisfaction Keywords: Locus Of Control, Self Esteem, and Job Satisfaction
