R. M. Canda Hadipta J., 2011; Influences of Diversification, Research and Development and Equity Structure to Company’s Financial Performance that Listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. Advisors: (1) Rida Prihatni, SE., Akt. M.Si., (2) Indra Pahala SE., M.Si. The purpose of this thesis preparation is to know the influence of diversification, research and development and equity structure to company’s financial performance that listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. in this study, Diversification are measured by Entrophy Index as X1, research and development are measured by R&D Intensity as X2, Equity Structure are measured by Debt Equity To Ratio as variable X3. And Company’s Financial Performance are measured by Return on Asset. This study uses secondary data, namely the financial statements of all companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2006-2009.The Techniques used for sampling is purposive sampling and obtained the total sample of 8 firm. The method used in this study is multiple regression analysis. From the results of multiple regression analysis showed that there is a positive relationship between diversification to company’s financial performance, there is a negative relationship between research and development to the company’s financial Performance, and there is a negative relationship between equity structure to the company’s financial performance. From the analysis F test showed that the diversification, research and development and equity structure simultaneously have influence to company’s financial performance. T test showed that the diversification have effect partially to the company’s financial performance, research and development haven’t effect partially to the company’s financial performance. And equity structure have effect partially to company’s financial performance.
