Abstract

Wisnu Damar Tri Hatnolo, 2011, The Influence of net income, cash flow, and firm size to the dividend policy on companies that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. Dividend is the proportion of profit distributed to shareholders. The amount of dividends distributed depends on the dividend policy set by the company management. There are several factors to consider on determining dividend policy. The objective aims of this research is to determine the factors that are considered as the important factors in determining the dividend policy, such as net income, cash flow, and company size The population in this research are Indonesia Stock Exchange listed companies outside the financial companies for period ended 2007-2009. In this research samples are taken using purposive sampling method which is samples must be meet the requirement such as the company must be paid dividends throughout the research period in order to used in this research. The regression model used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The research concludes there are two variables, net income and cash flow that significantly influence dividend payout ratio, it shown on the t- test which each significant number are less than 5%. While the company size doesn’t influence Dividend Payout Ratio with significant number is greater than 5% om the t- test.
