Abstract
The travel bureau is the one of the business company engaged in the field of service for someone who wants to travel. At the travel bureau also requires role of accounting for recording financial transactions and also useful to look at the financial condition of the company. accounting system of purchase and sales is required travel bureau to see the progress of the company. Lack of awareness of the company in implementing the procedures of purchase and sale as it should be cause a lot of problems. The purpose of this research is to : (1) Getting clear a picture of the implementation of accounting systems primarily related to purchase and sales of ticket and tour packages to service companies such as travel companies. (2) Knowing the application of accounting systems purchase and sales of ticket and tour packages at PT Acacia Antar Persada as a service company in the field of travel. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive that the authors see the procedures and accounting systems purchases and sales of tickets and tour packages applied to a travel company PT Acacia Antar Persada with a method of data collection through literature review, observation and interview. From the results of this research is that in the application of accounting systems purchase and sales in a travel company PT Acacia Antar Persada are a weakness that the documents are stored out of order / not neatly so as to enable wrong calculations and the absence of form used to record the order cancellations and refunds. Therefore we need a good implementation of accounting system and holding on rules / principles that apply in accounting. The implementation of a good system will minimize errors in recording.
