Abstract
RUDI SETIAWAN “An Analysis Of The Determinants Of Import In Southeast Asia Countries During Period 2011-2017”. Thesis. Economic Education. Faculty of Economcs. Universitas Negeri Jakarta. 2018. This study aims to analyze the influence of factors such as, Gross Domestic Product (GDP), inflation, foreign exchange reserves, and population on imports in Southeast Asia countries. The data used in this study is secondary data, with panel data types. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis with Random Effect Model as an estimation model. The results show partially the GDP variable has a positive and significant effect on imports, inflation has a positive and insignificant effect on imports, foreign exchange reserves have a positive and significant effect on imports, and the population has a positive and significant effect on imports. While simultaneously the variables of GDP, inflation, foreign exchange reserves, and the number of population have a significant effect on imports in Southeast Asian countries in 2011-2017. The value of the coefficient of determination R2 is 0, 70 indicating the variance of the independent variable can explain the variance of the dependent variable, which is 0.30 is influenced by other variables.
