Abstract
This studi aims to analyze the effect of asset quality, bank size, capital adequacy, and profitability on liquidity in bank subsector that listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange over 2012-2016 period. Descriptive statistics and balanced panel data regression analysis with random effect model (REM) approach is used in this stud. By using purposive sampling method, the samples obtained 31 companies out of the population of 42 companies. These results show that asset quality measured by non performing loan (NPL) has negative and insignificant effect on loan to deposito ratio (LDR), the size of the banks proxied by the total asset of natural logarithm has a positive and significant impact on LDR, Capital adequacy measured by capital adequacy ratio (CAR) has positive but insignificant effect to LDR, Profitability meausred by return on assets (ROA) has positive and significant effect to LDR
