Abstract

SILVA SYIR ATI F, “Effect of Education Levels on Economic Growth in Indonesia in 2010-2015 (Case Study of Education Levels on Gross Regional Domestic Products in 33 Provinces). The studies Program economic of education. The concentration of economic education cooperation. The faculty of economics. State universitry of Jakarta. 2019. The role of economic growth in a country or region is very important, one of its functions is to measure economic progress as a result of national development. Educational quality for every labour can increase economic growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of the level of education on economic growth in Indonesia in 2010-2015. The research method used in this study was expost facto. Data collection on education level and economic growth is secondary data. The analytical model used in this study is a simple linear regression panel data with a random effect model. The results of a simple linear regression analysis: (a) Regression coefficient of 3.97 shows that if the education level increases 1%, gross regional domestic product will increase by 3.97%, (b) the value of tcount of the education level variable is 10.6207> t table is 1.65267 if tcount > ttable means that the education level variable has a significant positive effect partially on gross regional domestic products. The results of the study showed that the education level variable had a significant positive effect partially on economic growth in Indonesia in 2010-2015. This is because the higher a person takes the education level, the higher the level of productivity automatically in the process of economic growth. Keyword : Education level, Economic growth.
