Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of CAR, NPL, BOPO, ROE, LDR to the Financial Distress on banking companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) period 2012-2016. Independent Variable of these study are CAR, NPL, BOPO, ROE, LDR. While dependent variable is Financial Distress which is a dummy variable with the category of problematic companies and companies are not problematic. The criteria of Financial Distress used in this study are companies that have an Altman ZScore of less than 1,23. The data used in this study is annual report of Banking Companies listed in BEI period 2012-2016. The method of analysis used is logistic regression analysis. The results show that that CAR, ROE, and LDR have negative significant effect on Financial Distress. While NPL and BOPO have insignificant negative effect on Financial Distress.
