Program D3 Administrasi Perkantoran Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This paper has a purpose to find out the work effectiveness of the secretary at Training and Education Center of The Ministry of State Secretariat.The method used in the research is descriptive analysis with a method of collecting data through observation and literature study. From the results of the writing can be known that the Training and Education Center of The Ministry of State Sekretariat is experiencing difficulties in carrying out secretary duties that are not appropriate. This is because the secretary does not have a secretary background and has two job responsibilities. To deal with the problems can be done by conducting training and development for a secretary in order to be effective in completing the task. Key Word: Work Effectiveness, Secretary
