SARAH SAKINAH. 8105151347. The Effect of Profitability and Dividend policy on Firms Value in Manufacturing Companies Listed on The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) Period 2015-2017. Thesis. Jakarta: Faculty of Economics. State University Jakarta 2019. This study aims to determine the effect of profitability and dividend policy on firm value in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This study uses a quantitative research method with a multiple regression analysis approach with an independent variable of profitability that is proxied by return of equity (ROE) and dividend policy which is proxied by dividend payout ratio (DPR) with the dependent variable firm value proxied by price book value (PBV). This research was conducted using annual financial reports from 2015 - 2017. The results of the study show that profitability is a positive value that has a significant effect on company value. While dividend policy is negative and does not affect the value of the company. Simultaneously (together) it was found that there was a significant influence between profitability and dividend policy. Keyword: Firm Value, Profitability, and Dividend Policy
