Abstract
This research aims to examine the influence Size CAR, LDR, NIM, and BOPO for the Non-Performing Loan (case studies on Conventional Commercial Banks in Indonesia and Thailand in period 2010-2014) where the independent variable was composed Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operating Expenses to Operating Income, and the dependent variable is the Non-Performing Loan (NPL). Research methodology used is gathering data from company’s annual report and from the central bank of Indonesia an Thailand. Sample waschoosen by purposive sampling, where we use commercial banks that have been listing in Indonesian Stock Exchange and Stock Exchange of Thailand from 2010 until 2014. In this study, the Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) affect the Non Performing Loan on banking company in Indonesiaand while in the Thailand has no effect, Loan Deposit Ratio (LDR) affect the Non Performing Loan on banking company in Indonesia and while in the Thailand has no effect, Net Interest Margin (NIM) no affect the Non Performing Loan on banking company in Indonesia and while in the Thailand have effect, and operating income to operating expense affect the Non Performing Loan on banking company in Indonesia and Thailand.
