Abstract

SITI NURLAELA. 8105150333. The Effect of Problem solving Learning Model on Learning Outcomes Subject Business Economy Class X Accounting SMK Negeri 1 Bogor. Skripsi. Jakarta. Study Program of Economics Education, Consentration in Accounting Education, Faculty of Economicss, State University of Jakarta, 2019. The aim of the present study is to find out the impact of problem solving learning model towards learning outcomes of tenth students in SMK Negeri 1 Bogor, based on reliable facts and data. The Study took place in SMK Negeri 1 Bogor. The methodology being used was experimental method with quasi experimental design. The sample of this study was 35 students in class X accounting 1 and 35 students in class X accounting 2. Multiple choice tests were chosen to filter the data from the variable to students learning outcomes. The biserial correlation formula was used to calculate the test’s validity, while Kuder Richardson 20 (K-R 20) formula was used to measure the test’s reliability. Prerequisite test was done before before doing the data analysis technique using the normality test with Liliefors test, and homogeneity test with F-test. Meanwhile, the hypothesis testing was done using the T-test. The result of the prerequisite test analysis revealed that in the normality test, both of the classes are ditributed normally. The result of the homogeneity of variance test is homogeneous. The result of the hypothesis testing shows that the score of t-count is 13,2 and the score of t-table is 1,69. It means that t-count > t-table (13,2 > 1,69), which infer that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. In conclusion, the study finds out that there is a significant impact of problem solving learning model towards learning outcomes of tenth grade students in SMK Negeri 1 Bogor. The conclusion of this study is the use of problem solving learning models affect student learning outcomes. This is seen from the average student learning outcomes, so it can be concluded that the problem solving learning model is proven to be able to improve student learning outcomes in class X Accounting SMK Negeri 1 Bogor.
