Abstract

CENDIKIA BAIDOWI. Effects of Coal Investment, Coal Exports, and Coal Prices on Gross Regional Domestic Product : Case Study of Five Coal Producing Provinces in Indonesia (Central Kalimantan, East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, South Sumatra, and Bengkulu) in 2010-2017 Abstrak: this study aims to determine the effect of investment, coal prices and exports on the GRDP of coal-producing regions. This study uses regression techniques using panel data. Panel data used are five province, namely East Kalimantan, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, South Sumatra and Bengkulu. The data used are secondary data from the central statistical agency (BPS) and the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources. The best test uses the Chow Test and the hausman test selected fixed effects model. T Test results show that investment give negative siginificant impact on GRDP, export and coal price variables have a positive and significant impact on GRDP. Similar results were also found in the F test results where the three variables together had a positive and significant effect on GRDP. Keywords: coal investment, coal prices, coal exports, GRDP
