Abstract

INGGAR DWI ARIYANI, 2020; The Effect of PER, EPS, and PBV on Stock Returns of Non-Financial Sector Companies Included in the KOMPAS100 Index Period 2015-2018. Thesis, South Tangerang: Study Program S1 Management, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta. This study aimed to determine the effect of PER, EPS, and PBV on Stock Returns of non-financial sector companies included in the KOMPAS100 Index from 2015 to 2018. The samples used in this study were 21 companies by using purposive sampling technique, which is based on non-financial sector companies that are consistently included in the KOMPAS100 Index during the 2015-2018 research period. The type of data used in this study is secondary data on the company's financial statements and summary report of company's performance from the Indonesia Stock Exchange's website by using documentation technique. Data analysis techniques used were the classical assumption test, panel data regression, and hypothesis test by using EViews 11. The results showed that partially PER had no effect on stock returns, while EPS and PBV had a significant positive effect on stock returns. This shows that the variables PER, EPS, and PBV only have the ability to explain stock returns of 14.07%, while the remaining 85.93% is explained by other factors outside of this study. Keywords: PER, EPS, PBV, and Stock Returns
