The population in this study were all employees at PT Samudra Teknindo Hydraumatic totaling 157 employees. Population affordability are all employees of Plant divisions totaling 89 employees. The sample used in this study amounted to 72 employees by using simple random sampling. Variable data Y (job satisfaction), X1 (motivation), and X (physical work environment) are taken from the questionnaires using likert scale. Prior to use, do test the validity and reliability test with Alpha Cronbach. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 16.0 begins with finding test requirements analysis is the normality test using methods Komolgrov Smirnov Z and Y can be the value of 0.657, X21 and X amounted to 0.342 by 0.861 of which were greater than 0.05 then the normal distribution of data. Then look for a test the classical assumption of multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity test. From the test results multikolinearitas Tolerance value amounted to 0.852 greater than 0.1 and less than 10 VIF is 1.174, it can be concluded that there was no trouble multikolinearitas. Furthermore heteroscedasticity test with Spearman's rho test, which resulted in significant value X1 and X 0.285 0.998. Because the significance value greater than 0.05 then there is no problem heteroscedasticity. The regression equation obtained was Y = 52.229 + 0,587X21 + 0,023X. Test the hypothesis that the F test in the ANOVA table known F hitung 2 16.299 > Ftabel 2 3.13. Test t produces t of motivation 5.155 > 1.995 ttabel and t of the physical work environment of 0.281 = t Tabel hitung 1.995.
