Abstract
ABSTRACT WIDYA SETIA PANGESTI. 8105128105. EFFECT OF INTEREST ON TEACHING AND LEARNING ENVIRONMENT ON STUDENT ACHIEVEMENT IN JAKARTA TRISOKO High School. Thesis, Jakarta: Education Studies of Economics, Department of Economics and Administration, Faculty of Economics, State University of Jakarta, June 2016. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between learning and the learning environment on the learning achievement of high school students in Jakarta Trisoko. This study was conducted over three months, starting in March 2016 until May 2016. The research method used was survey method with the correlational approach. The population in this study were all high school students Trisoko Jakarta. The population is all students inaccessibility IPS SMA Trisoko Jakarta totaling 143 students. The sampling technique used was proportional random technique, so that the sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents. The data collection technique using the technique of recording data, interviews and questionnaires. To gather data learning achievement (Y), the interest of achievement (X1) and the learning environment (X2) obtained by giving questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis technique used is the test requirements analysis consists of a test for normality and linearity test, classic assumption test, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing consisting of F test and t test. Based on the results of data analysis can be seen that there is influence between learning and learning achievement. Can be seen from the results of data analysis that shows the grades were thitung of learning interest of 5.705> sebesar1,66 ttabel value. The learning environment has an influence on student achievement, it is seen from the results of data analysis showed tcount 5.640> ttable value of 1.66. Interest in learning and learning environment simultaneously affect the learning achievement, it is seen from the results that demonstrate the value analisisdta Fhitung 47, 567> Ftabel value of 3:07. The regression equation obtained was Y = 60.043 + 0,082X1 + 0,095X2. Based on the test coefficient of determination obtained R2 values of 0.440, which means interest in learning (X1) and the learning environment (X2) influential on learning achievement (Y) amounted to 44.0%. Based on the above results , it is advisable for teachers to be able to guide and motivate their students to have an impact on improving student achievement .
