Abstract

ADITYA ARGI BACHTIAR. Relationship Between Master Pedagogic Competencies with Student Achievement at SMK Negeri 45 In West Jakarta. Thesis, Jakarta, Study Program of Commerce Education, Faculty of Economics, Jakarta State University. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 45 West Jakarta, for five months since February 2017 until June 2017. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between teacher pedagogic competence with student achievement at SMK Negeri 45 in West Jakarta. The method used is survey method with correlational approach. The population in this study were all students of SMK Negeri 45 West Jakarta. The reach population is all students of class X and XI Marketing and X Administration Office of 150 people. The sampling technique used is a simple random technique taken proportionally as many as 105 people. The resulting regression equation is Ŷ = 74,538 + 0,137X. Test analysis requirement is test of normality of regression estimation of Y over X with Lilliefors test yield Lcount = 0,0808 for Y over X, while Ltable for n = 105 at significant level 0,05 is 0,865. Since Lhitung < Ltable then the regression estimates of Y over X are normally distributed. The regression linearity test yields Fcount <Ftable that is, 1.04 <1.59 so it is concluded that the regression equation is linear. From regression significance test yield Fcount > Ftable that is, 72,94 > 3,91, so it can be concluded that the regression equation is significant. Product Moment correlation coefficient from Pearson produce rxy = 0,555, then tested significance of correlation coefficient by using t test and generated tcount = 6,768 and ttable = 1,658. Thus, it can be concluded that the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.555 is positive and significant. From the calculation of coefficient of determination, shows the variable of student achievement is determined by teacher pedagogic competence of 30.78%.
