Abstract

ABSTRACT Lisya Putri Aprilia. The Correlation Between Job Satisfaction With Organizational Commitment of Employees at Kantor Wilayah PT. AJB Bumiputera Syariah South Jakarta. Skripsi, Jakarta: Concentration of Office Administration Study Program of Economics Education, Department Economics Administration, Faculty of Economic, State University of Jakarta, 2013. The purpose of this research is to get a valid and reliable data or fact, to know more the correlation between job satisfaction with organizational commitment of employees at Kantor Wilayah PT. AJB Bumiputera Syariah South Jakarta. The research healed at Kantor Wilayah PT. AJB Bumiputera Syariah South Jakarta for two months since Mei until June 2013. The method of research is survey method with correlation approach, and the data is got from instrument to employee at Kantor Wilayah PT. AJB Bumiputera Syariah South Jakarta. The population research was all of marketing employees with total 76 employees, with 65 employees for sampling and used proportional random sampling. Collecting X variable data (Job Satisfaction) and Y variable data (Organizational Commitment), using likert scale model questionaire, before that it has construct validity test by validation process, that is correlation coefficient valuing score with the total score and reliability test using Alpha Cronbach formula. Reliability X variable (Job Satisfaction) is 0,903 and Y variable (Organizational Commitment) 0,884. The analysis test by finding regression equation, that is Y = 57,74 + 0,548X. After that data normally test by using Liliefors formula and the result is L count = 0,078 in significant level 0,05 and Ltable = 0,110, so L. It mean that the mistake of prediction regression Y to X has normal distribution. For regression significance test and the result is F count (21,28) > F(4,00). Showing that, it has significance regression. While regression linearity test, F (0,911) < F (1,88), showing that regression is linear. The result of product moment of correlation coefficient test, is rtable = 0,502 continued by using correlations coefficient significance test with t-test. Counting result, t xy = 4,61 while t table = 1,67 and so, tcount > t . It means that there are significance correlations between job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Besides that, the result of determination coefficient test is 25,25%, it means that organizational commitment variable determined by 25,25% job satisfaction variable.
